Silent Hill: 3 Weapons
Knife
Location: Starts in your inventory
Pros: It's fast and you can conserve your ammo.
Cons: Need to get close to enemies to use it, and it only inflicts minor damage.
Handgun
Location: Central Square Shopping Center, 1F Women's Clothing Store
Pros: It's quick, easy to use and there's loads of ammunition to be found. You can also move when firing.
Cons: There's a limited range and this weapon can have little effect on bosses or the tougher enemies.
Steel Pipe
Location: Central Square Shopping Center, 2F Café Turn Mill kitchen.
Pros: You can conserve your ammo and it has further range than the knife.
Cons: You still need to get close to inflict damage, and it can be cumbersome to use.
Shotgun
Location: Hazel Street Station, B3F, Platform 2 Abandoned Subway Car
Pros: There's plenty of ammo around for this weapon. Use it point-blank and it can be devastating.
Cons: It takes longer to load and you're restricted to 6 bullet magazines.
Maul
Location: Underground Pass, Upper Level Employee Locker Room
Pros: Can knock most enemies to the floor in a single blow.
Cons: It's heavy, difficult to handle and you can't move while using it.
Katana
Location: Hilltop Center, 2F Art Storage Room behind Gallery of Fine Arts
Pros: No ammo required and it's faster than the other melee weapons.
Cons: You need to get close and you cannot attack while moving.
Stun Gun
Location: Daisy Villa Apartments, Heather's Dresser Drawer
Pros: Can knock most enemies to the floor.
Cons: Batteries are scarce.
Submachine Gun
Location: Brookhaven Hospital, BF Corridor
Pros: It's quick, easy and delivers a rapid fire stream of bullets.
Cons: Ammo is scarce, you cannot move while firing.
Beam Saber
Location: (Extra Game Mode) Central Square Shopping Center 2F North Corridor
Pros: Can kill many enemies in only a few swings
Cons: Draws enemies with its glow. Also has a slow start up.
Flamethrower
Location: (Extra Game Mode) Central Square Shopping Center 2F Helen's Bakery
Pros: Unlimited fuel
Cons: You cannot move while using.
Heather Beam
Location: To get this weapon, you must complete the game once, killing 333 enemies
Pros: Unlimited energy and just plain cool to see. Drains enemy life in good amounts.
Cons: Will not slow down approaching enemies.
