Why: At the time of its release, there was nothing else quite like it around. You could state "nostalgia" as the primary reason, I suppose.

Scariest SH Moment: The rattling locker (or, rather, the surprise thereafter) in Silent Hill's Midwich Elementary School (Otherworld).

Scariest SH Moment: Was in the apartment in SH2 and was running through, got a lot of loud noises after revisiting the clock room I'd never heard. I then got a phone call at my home, and when I picked it up nobody was on the other line. I then signed onto AIM, and nobody was responding to me.

Why: It dares to be more than just a horror story. It dares to be more than even a psychological horror story. It is a love story first and foremost, executed to perfection, with horror elements secondary. Never before and likely never again.

Least fav. SH: Cybil Bennett.
Fav Monster: Closers. Nothing intimidates like Closers do.
Least Fav Monster: Silent Hill 4's ghosts. Far too annoying.

Scariest SH Moment: Running scared for my life from three Closers down the rotting, empty corridors of the Otherside's Central Square Mall from Silent Hill 3.

Did you like the film?: Yes. Not on par with the games' stories and characters, but I still enjoyed it.
Scariest SH Moment: In SH3's mall, I was busy trying to explore a fairly narrow hallway with my flashlight off and I found something on the ground. I turn on the flashlight, pick the item up off the ground, and quick-turn into three closers I snuck past earlier. I scream a few choice expletives while Heather gets mauled to pieces.

Fav SH: it's a tie between Silent Hill and Silent Hill 2
Why: Silent hill was the first game I played. I loved the retro look and feel of the town and all the characters. I also really love two for it's haunting music and story. I have fond feelings for both so I can't decide!
