HANDGUN – This is the standard gun.  It has unlimited ammo, but it does need to be reloaded when a clip runs out.  In order to reload it, the player must fire the gun while it is not pointing at the screen.  This is the weapon that will be used for the large majority of the game.

SHOTGUN – A gun holding 24 shots that the player can first find in Brookhaven Hospital.  It’s more powerful than the Handgun, but it is also slower.

RIFLE – This powerful gun holds 24 shots.  While its power can be helpful, like the shotgun, it also operates more slowly than the standard Handgun.  This is first found in Toluca Prison.
