Those of you who have been waiting in vain to lay your hands on the original Silent Hill game need wait no more.

Following the re-issue of Silent Hill 2, Silent Hill 3 and Silent Hill: The Room on PS2 a little while ago, PS3 owners can now download the original first game straight onto their consoles from the PlayStation Network. Priced at a competitive $6.00, it’s cheaper than picking up a second-hand copy on eBay. :)

The bad news? Looks like this is a US-only release for now, as there’s no sign of it yet on the European PSN. We’ll keep you posted if this changes though.
