Why: It dares to be more than just a horror story. It dares to be more than even a psychological horror story. It is a love story first and foremost, executed to perfection, with horror elements secondary. Never before and likely never again.

Did you like the film?: Yes. Not on par with the games’ stories and characters, but I still enjoyed it.
Scariest SH Moment: In SH3’s mall, I was busy trying to explore a fairly narrow hallway with my flashlight off and I found something on the ground. I turn on the flashlight, pick the item up off the ground, and quick-turn into three closers I snuck past earlier. I scream a few choice expletives while Heather gets mauled to pieces.

Why: Silent hill was the first game I played. I loved the retro look and feel of the town and all the characters. I also really love two for it’s haunting music and story. I have fond feelings for both so I can’t decide!
